I was told I could expect it in about 4 months (February). We will order one to be made for you." That it exactly what she told me. I tried it on and loved it, and the same saleswoman reminded me that, "This is only a sample. In a few weeks I recieved a call that the dress was there for me to try on and I made another appointment. I was worried then, but gave her the benefit of the doubt. The owner seemed very passive aggressive and just kind of let them walk out. They got into an altercation with the owner and even started yelling at her. A woman and her daughter had come in to pick up some dresses that had abeen altered. Then a funny thing happened while we were waiting to be checked out. If I did not purchase a gown I could use it towards and veil or any other of the accesories. That $50 was not returnable, but could be put towards my gown if I purchased one there. Now, there was a $50 deposit required to have the dress pulled in. She call Eden right then, told me that they had my size in stock and that they would send it over for me to try on. After deciding I still wanted to see the gown I found online, she agreed to have a sample pulled in for me. She helped me pick out some dresses that were similar to the one I saw, since she didnt have that particular one in the store that day. So I made an appointment at Here Comes the bride and the woman there ( I assume the owner) was very nice to my whole party. But I was set on having that dress, and no other shop that I called could have it brought in. The shop had tons of bad reviews and a I was very apprehensive. Go to Rienzi Bridal Salon, I really wish I did because Here comes the Bride is no longer the place I remember it to be when I got a bridesmaid gown for a cousin's wedding and my prom dress. She would try to do anything not to admit there might have been a mistake made and to try to work with us to fix it in a way that worked for myself and my girls.
Plus the owner started out pleasant but once more issues popped up her attitude completely changed and she became overly defensive and unpleasant to work with. The girls had to cut slits in their dresses after the ceremony in order to move around and dance. Overall it was a very stressfull experience I should not have gone through. Plus the one girl almost couldn't get her dress zipped (one of the dresses that should have been reorder)! I was also told she also charged them again for the alterations even though it was the fault of the salon. The day before the wedding we found out two of the dresses got the incorrect alterations, but instead of admitting the mistake and making the appropriate alterations she fixed the incorrect dresses and had them dropped off to my girls the day of the wedding with the alteration visible noticeable (wish I can post pictures) and looking like a three year old did them.
plus we somehow ended up with an extra dress. all dresses needed to be altered and at least three should have been reordered in a bigger size but she refused saying all that needed to be done was swap the dresses between the girls. The owner never mentioned that it was a mermaid style dress, all we were told it was a new design for the season. My dress cam in mis-sized at the top which was the vendor's fault and the store was able to get corrected, but when we questioned requesting the next size up just in case we got shot down.Īlso, when my girls tried on their dresses initially it looked like an A-line design which was why it was selected. Fect dress for myself and what I felt was the perfect dresses for my girls it became a nightmare afterwards.
